Spring!

Well, it sure feels like spring these days! Matthias got to enjoy his first real trip to the park! Last year he could only watch his buddy, Caleb, run around and play. Now he can join in -- well, not the running around part, but all the other fun stuff... slides, horse rides and swings!

Elden and I were able to do two presentations about Taiwan  - one for Lutheran Schools Week and the other for an LWML retreat. It was so nice to look back through pictures and remember our time there. Matthias got to spend some quality time with Grandma and Grandpa Hinz while we were gone a couple hours each day. It was a little rough for him, but he's trying to be brave when staying with people who aren't mom and dad.

Back to the porch!!! Even though it was a tad too cool, we had to cleap up the porch and sit outside on Sunday. Elden grilled and Matthias was requainted with his favorite spot in the house :)

Yep - it sure feels like spring. Now we just need some daffodils!

Off to the park we go...
