Things have settled down since moving and we are getting back into some kind of routines - though Elden has been working a lot of odd jobs so life still stays interesting :) We continue to enjoy some of our favorite St. Louis activities including a visit to the Festival of Nations last weekend where we sampled a lot of different foods. My favorites were the Polish and Ethiopian. Elden really enjoyed the Thai fresh coconut and we both LOVED the authentic watermelon juice like we had in Taiwan. Matthias tried and liked almost everything but I think his favorite were the empanadas.

Matthias is one busy little kid who loves to play -- especially outside. However, he does find ways to stay busy inside as well. He loves to decorate my floors with his cupboard finds... But no, folks, this is not a random mess. He places each piece very carefully and then considers where the next one should go.
When he is outside you can usually find him digging in the rocks!

So what do you do with a boy, who loves being outside, when the remnants of a hurricane roll through bringing rain for three days? Well... eventually mom and dad give in and let him out to play!

| Pure joy! |
His absolute favorite things are DIGGERS!! So we found a great dump truck at the resell it shop and he loves filling it with rocks. This morning he figured out that he could also ride it! Oh the joy!

Life is certainly not boring around here! Mei mei is going to be quite entertained by her brother I think!
