We had a fun-filled weekend with a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Hinz!! While I feel like we relaxed around the house a bit while Matthias was supposed to be napping, we actually got a lot of fun things in, including a visit to Grant's Farm! Matthias loved the little trolley ride to see the animals and even got his first ride on a carousel.
I'm pretty sure his favorite thing, though, was playing with the goats. He wasn't too interested in feeding them their bottles of milk (though it would have been good practice for when Mei mei arrives... ) but after assessing the situation, he decided that they were quite fun to chase around and pet.
And then the obligatory wiping of goat poop off the shoes...
There were chickens to chase...
And camels to see
And of course a visit to see the clydesdale horses
We also took advantage of the pool and Grandma and Grandpa's hotel.
Unfortunately, not pictured was the trip to the mall, Soulard Market and a fantastic Dim Sum restaurant! Thanks for the fun visit, Grandma and Grandpa!!
