The past week has included two baptisms! Eleanor was baptized on January 6 by her grandpa Hinz. We praise God that she is his child and pray that she remains in his grace always.
She wore the family baptismal gown and of course mama had to put a big ole bow on her head :)
Her sponsors are her Uncle Nathan and Aunt Allison along with our friends Carl and Kelsey Grulke
The next day we caught a few smiles on camera... happy to be a child of God :)
Matthias enjoyed running around and playing the piano during the lunch reception after the baptism.
And now a few other pictures from Christmas and the past few weeks. Matthias has really started to love books again. Sometimes he's ok looking and "reading" on his own, but he'd much prefer to be read to by mom and dad :)
Nora had her first real bath when she was about 3 weeks old... she's not super thrilled about it.
We got to see our friends, the Haaks, when they were in St. Louis just after Christmas. Joel is the associate pastor in Rochester where Elden did vicarage.

And Matthias (and we) finally got to meet his cousin, Liam! They had fun playing with the exersaucer... in different ways :)

And even though she might not be thrilled right now, I think Nora will really love her first dolly!!
And finally another baptism! Today Judah William joined God's family. The Grulkes are Nora's sponsors and we are Judah's sponsors. And yes, Nora and Judah will be getting married.
