I realize that I've been bad for the past months about posting, partly because I just haven't taken that many picture except around the big events but also because I've just lacked the time to get them posted. So here's a little catch up on some random things.
Pre-Christmas
The week before Thanksgiving we took a day trip back to St. Louis to do a few fun things and some Christmas shopping. Of course the fun things included a trip to Ted Drews (where Nora got her first taste... we broke her in with the Great Pumpkin concrete. Life will be pretty disappointing for her after this.) and the Zoo. We had perfect weather and really enjoyed checking out our old city.
Elden was the master raker this year, but Matthias did his best to help. And to give daddy a break as they played in the leaves. We have a lot of leaves. A lot.
Now, post-Christmas. Here is Nora sporting one of her cute dresses from Gma Kohn. She is a walker now... starts to crawl and then pops right up and walks. And oh boy does she get into things.
We had several snows before Christmas (which really surprised us being this far south... ) but it was always too cold to get Nora out to enjoy it. A couple weeks ago we had really nice weather and some of the snow was still around, so she got her first experience with it. Not too crazy about falling with her hands into it, but loved holding on to a little chunk of it.
Matthias has his own little shovel and has really enjoyed helping daddy (and gpa Hinz in MN) shovel it. He's pretty strong for a little guy. Let's hope his enthusiasm for helping continues as he gets bigger.
