Some catching up

Phew! I finally had some time to figure out this technology stuff! But now we're up and running and here's  recap of the past few weeks. (and check out the video at the end... we have a walker!)

Matthias completed his first swimming lessons! We had 4 lessons and by the end he was a pro and quite comfortable in the water... the picture below was the second night, however, when he was still a little unsure about everything!

We played tourists at the Mall of America! Daddy loved the Lego store and Matthias couldn't get enough of watching the roller coasters at the fun park.

We took in lunch at the Rainforest Cafe -- Lots of smiles until the monkeys started dancing and the thunderstorm struck in the restaurant. Eventually, though, we got him to eat. He loves cheese!

We got the best table for this little guy -- right in front of the fish tank!

And he got to try his first ice cream -- a good ole' soft serve from DQ. He is his daddy's boy :)

Uh oh. Already going for the ladies' legs!

Matthias is definitely getting the hang of walking! He has started doing it much more on his own. (Check out the video at the end of the post.)

And the super great news of the past weeks -- we got a minivan!! It was time to trade in the Subaru for something with a little more space. We celebrated with lunch at Pizza Luce -- a favorite in the Twin Cities. You can see the van over Elden's shoulder -- the tan one :) We LOVE it!

And check out this walker!!! He is pretty proud of himself!
